Serving the surrounding area of Sarasota and Manatee counties, Children’s Art Classes is a studio-based, fine art programs offering study in drawing, painting, design, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and much more. This award-winning program has gained much recognition for the outstanding artwork of its students. Explore our comprehensive art classes today and find the one that best suits your child’s needs. Through this comprehensive curriculum, students have the opportunity to work in over 40 areas of Art. Homeschool families, we also partner with Step Up for Students and accept eligible scholarship funds through the Education Market Assistant (EMA) portal. Contact us for information.
In the summer, we have Summer Workshops. These workshops are an a la carte of what our school year curriculum entails. At Children’s Art Classes, we strive to continue art education throughout the summer, nurture your child’s love of art, and of course, have FUN! Workshops meet daily, Monday to Friday for the week. We have drawing, anime, kawaii creations, digital art, polymer clay, and more…!

Saturday, Aug. 8 – Florida Penguin Back to School Bash – Mall at UTC
We are at The Mall at UTC for their annual Back to School Bash from 10am to 2p. Kick off the school year with new back pack and supplies! Join in on the scavenger hunt and meet us there!
Wednesday, Aug. 12 – Anime/Manga Workshop at Gulf Gate Library
Hey Tweens & Teens! Did you miss our Anime/Manga workshop this Summer? Here’s your chance to learn basic drawing skills and create your character! Children’s Art Classes will be at Gulf Gate Library for a Manga Workshop from 5p-7p. Meet us there at 7112 Curtiss Avenue Sarasota, FL 34231. Ages 9+ are welcome to sign up! Saturday, Aug. 15 – Music Compound Back to School Bash
We are at Music Compound for their annual Back to School Bash from 11a to 2p! Enjoy live music, food truck, bounce house… sample a music lesson and participate in a guided tour of their studio! Also, meet us there at 775 Bell Road as we partner with Music Compound for Back to School! Don’t miss out! Register & join in on the family fun!
