Serving the surrounding area of Sarasota and Manatee counties, Children’s Art Classes is a studio-based, fine art programs offering study in drawing, painting, design, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and much more. This award-winning program has gained much recognition for the outstanding artwork of its students. Explore our comprehensive art classes today and find the one that best suits your child’s needs. Classes are designed for ages three and up! Learn more about each of our classes here. Through this comprehensive curriculum, students have the opportunity to work in over 40 areas of Art.

Homeschool families, students enroll in the curriculum level that is appropriate for their age group. We also partner with Step Up for Students and accept eligible scholarship funds direct pay through the Education Market Assistant (EMA) portal. Contact us for information.

In the summer, we have Summer Workshops. These workshops are an a la carte of what our school year curriculum entails. At Children’s Art Classes, we strive to continue art education throughout the summer, nurture your child’s love of art, and of course, have FUN! Workshops meet daily, Monday to Friday for the week. We have drawing, anime, kawaii creations, digital art, polymer clay, and more…!

STARTING OCTOBER – FALL FRIDAY FIELD TRIPS

Children’s Art Classes partners with local businesses to provide our community with opportunities for child development and meaningful connection! Working within the YOUTH ACTIVITY COLLECTIVE* (YAC) we are excited to present Fall Friday Field Trips. Starting in October, YAC will offer a series of field trip events during the day, so our families can enjoy the experience of music, acting, sewing, art, martial arts, playful and academic activities.

*The Youth Activity Collective formed through Sarasota music school Music Compound in 2025, after area businesses expressed an interest in working together to support one another and strengthen the community. The collective currently includes 16 participating businesses. The group meets monthly to serve children and families throughout the Sarasota-Manatee community through collaboration, referrals, special events and shared resources.
Created by volunteer-led referral and collaboration group, Youth Activity Collective (YAC), the series bridges the gap between the needs of local families and the services offered by locally-owned businesses. Each event offers hands-on experience of music, art, academics, drama, nature, dance, sewing, or physical activity.
